Our Story
The inspiration behind E & M Legacy Planning began through years of ministry and service to families.
For more than 43 years, L. Marshall served as a Minister, preaching, counseling, and walking alongside families through many seasons of life. Now as a Minister Emeritus, those years of service continue to shape how he approach his work today.
During those years, he officiated numerous funerals and spent time supporting families who were grieving the loss of someone they loved.
Again and again, one challenge became clear. Many families were left trying to locate documents, manage financial responsibilities, and make important decisions without clear plans in place.
These experiences revealed how difficult things can become when families are forced to make important decisions during a time of grief.
It also revealed something important: Preparing ahead of time can bring peace of mind to the people we care about most.
That realization inspired a new mission to help families organize their affairs before those difficult moments arrive.
